Passage: Good Shepherd's School of Theology

Passage is divided into four different areas of study:

  • Biblical Studies (BS) – Classes designed to take people deep into an experience of the Inspired Word of God
  • Christian Thought (CT) – Classes designed to help people better understand the great doctrines of the Christian faith as well as engage their surrounding culture with a solid Biblical worldview.
  • Practical Ministry (PM) – Classes designed to grow and develop ministry skills among the people of Good Shepherd.
  • Spiritual Growth (SG) – Classes designed to guide the people of Good Shepherd into new levels of Spiritual depth and formation.

The purpose of Passage is to augment the Small Group and Sunday Adult Learning ministries of Good Shepherd.

Entire small groups may wish to sign up for Passage courses together.

Passage classes will by design focus on instruction and learning. While natural fellowship will occur in such classroom settings, it will not serve as a replacement for the kind of deep life-sharing fellowship that takes place in our home-based small groups.

First Step (formerly Discover Group) serves as an introductory class for all ministries of Good Shepherd. While not a pre-requisite for any Passage course, it is an important venue for learning about the church’s teachings, philosophies, and ministries.
