At Good Shepherd, we have developed the short, memorable mantra of Walking Together to be the focal point and rallying cry of how we do church.

The Bible is full of terms that refer to life with God as a "walk." And in that walk, we have fellow companions and we have a destination - becoming mature in Christ. Our paths toward that destination are not necessarily linear. Sometimes we wander. Sometimes we fall. Other times we are running with confidence the race set before us (Hebrews 12:3). At still other times we are walking very slowly. Through it all, we need others. Others who will encourage us, pick us up. Others whom we can invite to join us on the journey.

So our purpose as a church is to help people on their walk. Along the way, we've set up certain milestones that will help us measure our progress.
