Tony and Amy Myers in Bulgaria

It is a great joy and privilege to serve the Lord in Bulgaria, a former bulwark of the Christian faith during the advances of the Ottoman Empire in history.  Though sadly, today less than 1% of Bulgarians experience the joy and power of knowing Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord.  They are truly a nation of people who do not know their left hand from their right.  Our labors in Bulgaria focus on building Christ's kingdom by courageously preaching the Gospel and loving people with Gospel driven compassion.  We do this specifically through encouraging local churches and their leaders.  We come alongside men like Delcho Atanasov in Trakiya and co-labor with them as they lead and equip their congregations.  We also seek to penetrate into the culture via redeeming projects such as the development of a church operated kindergarten in First Evangelical Church in Plovdiv.  And we get out there and share Christ with people as we live, shop, take the kids to kindergarten, or walk in the park.  Our single passion is to make Jesus Christ an issue in the lives of Bulgarian in all ways possible.  Thankfully God has given us much grace to do so.
