Family Promise is a homeless-prevention ministry in which area churches team together to provide lodging, food, and job skills for families "on the edge" - those near homelessness. To learn more about Family Promise, visit their website at: www.familypromiseofcharlotte.org/

Good Shepherd is one of 12 Mecklenburg County churches taking part in Family Promise. We will host up to five families for one week at a time, four different weeks per year. Our next week is Monday, June 16-Friday, June 20. The meal should be prepared in advance and be served promptly at 6:30 p.m. Servers should arrive at 6:00 p.m. for set up.

Family Promise is an excellent way to live out Jesus' reminder:"Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine,  you did for me." Matthew 25:40
